About
Retail Therapy is a homeware and apparel boutique on Belmont Road, opened by Jodie Phillips in November 2020 after a long-held dream to run her own store. Jodie stocks New Zealand labels including Isle of Mine, eb&ive and HAVEN, alongside furnishings and home decor, and is working to build out a wider apparel range in fuller figure sizes so more customers can find things that fit and feel good. The shop sits at the corner of Belmont Road and Hughenden Street, behind AON Insurance. Jodie moved to Paeroa from Whangarei in 2013 with her husband Bruiser and their two children, and wanted to create a relaxed, welcoming space where people can take their time browsing and have a chat, rather than feeling rushed or intimidated.
