We have another awesome Mural to add to our Main Street!
This wonderful piece of artwork has been completed by Reuben Birch, a year 13 student of Hauraki Plains College.
Reuben was approached by the Paeroa Business Association to make a bright and colourful installation over a damaged shop front while it is waiting to be repaired. It may be temporary but we know that it will help bring up appearances and it has given Reuben a great opportunity to showcase his skills.
After he helped Regan Balzer Arts on the mural Te Pare o Hinemuri, we knew he had the skills to bring something more to life. Reuben intends to study fine arts next year at university – we think he go will very far.
